The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it is actually alarmed regarding the superior range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The services point designed for intervention SRD experiences a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
